When and where is the next conference?
The Spring 2016 Heart of a Girl Spiritual Empowerment Conference will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 9:00 am - 3:15 pm at the Triangle Church, 5510 Barbee Chapel Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
Can I register at the door ?
You will NOT be able to register at the door.We're sorry, but because this event is catered,
and many materials are prepared in advance for each girl, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
The last day to register for the conference is Sunday, April 24, 2016.
Can my parents come, or atleast my mom?
There is a special time in the day where parentsare invited to come and share in the conference. That time is from 2:45-3:15 pm. Other than the Parent Visit segment, parents will not be there
for the conference.
What should I bring to the Conference?
Your Bible, a notepad, your favorite pen/pencil,your friends and a smile. Breakfast, Lunch,
Insights, and Fun will be provided.
Who can attend the Conference?
This conference is for 6th to 12th grade girls. Although the Conference will be held at the Triangle Church, you don't have to be a member to attend.
Can I bring my friends to the Conference?
YES, the more the merrier ! As long as your friends are 6th to 12th grade girls.
I've already attended one of the Heart of a Girl Conferences. Should I come again? Will it be the same one I already attended?
Come again ! Each conference is different.
Our attendees give feedback which is rolled into the next conference. So, some activities will be brought back by popular demand, and others will be added. The focus and topics will change with each conference so that you can add to your learning and insights with the more conferences you attend.
What if I don't have a Bible or don't
really know that much about spiritual
things, can I still come?
YES, yes, yes! We'd love to have you. No Bible, no worries; just bring yourself and your heart and we'll provide the rest.
Who can Volunteer to help at the Conference ?
Our volunteers are spiritual woman ranging
from College Students to Grandmothers.
Some Volunteer opportunities include: serving breakfast and lunch, facilitating small discussion groups, reading aloud short excerpts, singing or praise dancing, running microphones, taking photographs or video, ready hands to help
